Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).
- Set up three bowls: one with seasoned flour, another with beaten eggs, and the last one with a mix of panko and regular breadcrumbs.
- Pat the chicken tenders dry with a paper towel.
- Coat each tender in the flour, then dip in the eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated chicken tenders on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
- Spray the tenders lightly with cooking spray.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
Notes
For variations, try different spices or add shredded cheese to the breadcrumbs. Can be made gluten-free with appropriate breadcrumbs.
